ADNOC Distribution launches E-plus on Oct 8th 2006
A less expensive... More economical fuel |
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (“Adnoc Distribution”) presents
another cost-effective and environment-friendly fuel.
The launch of this new product is aimed at serving the public interest of the UAE society and lessening the financial burden shouldered by the consumer. It also comes in line with Adnoc Distribution’s commitment to developing oil resources without creating environmental imbalance.
E-plus offered alongside with Special 95 and Super 98 which provide customers with
a wider range of choice between products that are less expensive and more environment-friendly.
E-plus which comes in red is as efficient as other fuels and will let you save an amount of AED 1 compared to (Super) which is sold currently at AED 6.75 and 50 fils less compared to (Special) which is sold currently at AED 6.25 per gallon at Adnoc stations.
E-plus will be sold at AED 5.75 per gallon.
The introduction of the new fuel is a result of detailed studies made by
Adnoc Distribution, in cooperation with Takreer and the Marketing Directorate of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to forecast potential demand and to ensure the availability of the fuel.
Motorists can now fill their vehicles with the new fuel in all Adnoc Distribution stations. However, the Super 98 will be available at selected
service stations in each Emirate.
Adnoc Distribution have launched an educational campaign for the new product under the slogan of “E-plus: The Happy fuel: Less expensive… More economical” to provide consumers with detailed information about E-plus.This special website has been launched containing relevant information about the new product explaining its features and functions. In coordination with car dealers in the country, a
list of vehicles which can use E-plus is available on the website.

E-plus is a new grade of 91 octane petrol is available at all Adnoc Distribution's
service stations in UAE to customers from the 8th of October 2006.
E-plus, which comes in red color, is another high quality product from Adnoc Distribution. It is as efficient as other fuels and lets you save a significant amount of money
as it currently sold 50 fils less compared to (Special) which is currently priced
at AED6.25 per gallon at Adnoc stations. E-plus is currently sold at AED 5.75 per
gallon.
It is important to note that both Special (ULG 95) and the new E-plus (ULG 91) are
quality gasoline. If your car is designed to use any of the two types then it will
perform perfectly by using the suitable grade for your car. For details on the suitable
